omg soooo cute evan
ReplyDeletei'm going to use my common sense and assume that box on the bottom right is for the barcode
ReplyDeleteas always evan i love your style,
it feels unbalanced, a little, all the detail is on the left of your composition.
the linework, the shapes on top of them, behind them, the logo and the type are all on the left. then theres this big empty space to the right. well, just "seemingly" empty. because those broken up shapes are bigger than the ones to the left.
i actually dont mind the greens in your color pallete. maybe its the big brown shape in the middle thats not doin it for me. teehee
i hope this helps, but it's lookin good evan :)
DID U CHANGE IT ALREADY WHEN U SHOWED ME?
ReplyDeleteCuz on here, the dog looks really blending into the background. Maybe you can make her/dog overall more yellowy orangey warm or whatever, and ixnay some of the blue/greens.
yeah the composition is left heavy cuz i didnt incorporate the type and the barcode yet on the right, but hopefully it'll look more balanced after. and yes on the brown.. looks like a random poo stain... ^.^ will fix
ReplyDeleteyeah i changed the dog. thats the first thing i noticed when i posted it.-> "where'd the dog go?"
yeahhhhh and definitely will fix the greens and use more contrasting colors.
i will post the updated version of this soon!
thanks so much guys! i love you~
You've probably already improved it, but the only thing that bothered me was the motion squiggles... could be a matter of personal preference though, I think you get the idea that they are moving through space without those motions squiggles. Overall it's really unique, just like its artist.
